ATCorp to Speak at US Department of Defense Cyber Crime Conference in 2011

January 24, 2011 Ithaca, NY. ATC-NY's senior staff scientist Dr. Frank Adelstein will present a talk on peer-to-peer forensics at the DoD Cyber Crime Conference in Atlanta, GA on January 27, 2011. The talk will focus on the forensic artifacts that the eMule file-sharing program leaves on a computer, reviewing how eMule works, the information in the various configuration and log files, and how this information can be used by digital forensic investigators.

Dr. Adelstein led the development of www.p2pmarshal.com, a digital forensic investigation tool. Version 3.1 of P2P Marshal supports eMule investigations.
